About Yoga Break

​Why Yoga Break?

Our Sessions
Yoga Break is a small yoga studio founded in 2002, operating in the Northern Beaches,  and traveling to other areas of Sydney.
 
We specialise in: 
  • Private yoga or/and small groups
  • Individualised yoga remedy
  • Modified wide-ranging theme yoga
  • General regular yoga classes
  • Focus yoga workshops
  • Mobile Yoga Sessions
 
We are flexible:
  • Our programs can be adapted to your needs
  • Sessions can be run as private, small groups, specific theme groups, or regular groups
  • Skype relaxation/meditation audio only session for distant clients
 
We can come to you:
  • Our programs take place mostly at our Brookvale studio
  • By appointment and within the metropolitan area, we can come to the clients’ chosen location  e.g. home, workplace, club, community centre, school, nursing home, event, park or beach.

Hello,
​
​I’m Joanna, a passionate hatha yoga practitioner with 15 years of yoga teaching experience and daily yoga routine. Having developed a strong personal yoga practice, I completed a Yoga Teacher’s Diploma at the Sarasvati Yoga Society, under the guidance of the great Swami Sarasvati and Sanjay. Apart from traditional Hatha Yoga, I also studied Iyengar Yoga, Raja and Sivananda Yoga. I hold a teacher membership in the Australian Yoga Masters Association.

 
While focusing on the present moment and natural yogic remedies, my classes and private sessions are suitable for anyone wanting to simply feel good, regardless of their age or fitness level. The sessions are conducted in a nurturing and relaxing atmosphere, with attention to individual needs and abilities. My instruction is appropriately modified to allow both beginners and intermediate yogis to experience the effects of yoga through breathing techniques, postures, deep relaxation and meditation. I look forward to sharing yoga with you.
